Who wants a Banana Split!?

Banana / Blueberry Split

This morning I woke up at 4:30 A.M. and went to the gym with my friend, Mollie. Little did we know that we were going to end up with a 2-hour delay, let alone a closing!!!

While we were sitting in the sauna I was thinking of ideas on what I could make!
BOOM, this was the one!!

It is soo beautiful! I love the vibrant colors and how quick and easy it was to make!

I was planning on making banana ice cream after school today, but instead I used the frozen bananas to make this yummy blueberry banana "ice cream sauce"
:)

What you will need:
*Vitamix blender*
*Festive Plate*
*1 frozen banana*
*1 Carton of frozen blueberries*
*1 banana for the split :)*
*Optional: some blueberries and shredded coconut for the topping*

For the Blueberry / Banana "ice cream sauce"
Put the frozen banana and bluberries into your Vitamix (or other blender)
and mix for a few seconds until it looks like the picture below!

For the Banana Split
Use a knife and hold the banana upright and slowly
 (watch your fingers)
cut down the middle of the banana.

THEN.......

Lay the banana out on your festive plate and begin to pour the blueberry / banana
"ice cream sauce" over top!!

Lastly, sprinkle your blueberries and shredded coconut to top it off!
(or the ingredients you choose)
:)

NOW, GO AHEAD AND INDULGE!!!
100% GUILT FREE !!!!!

Have a fabulous day <3

Overnight Oats, the fun way!!

Raw Cacao Granola, Banana, Coconut, Chia Seed and Steel-Cut Overnight Oats

Overnight oats are super quick and easy! By adding chia seeds to the mix makes the oatmeal 10x more delicious :) Not to mention adds healthy omega-3 oils to your diet!

This recipe was created by @lonijane ! She has one of the best accounts on Instagram, it is full of raw vegan recipes.. Check it out

What you will need:
*Mason Jar*
*Vitamix Blender*
*2 to 3 bananas*
*Some shredded coconut to taste*
*Raw chocolate granola*

Recipe:
How to make overnight oats

Put 1/2 cup of Chia seeds and Steel-Cut oats into a mason jar
**I read Loni Jane's recipe wrong and put 1/2 cup of both seeds and oats
so you won't have as much in your jar!**

Fill the jar up with water until covering the seeds and oats
Put on the lid and
keep in the fridge overnight.

In the morning, put the overnight oats into your blender with 2 banana and some shredded coconut!

Blend for about 10 seconds, or until your oats look the same as the picture below. You do not want to over mix.

Once your oats are ready,
 grab your mason jar!!
*Put some chocolate granola at the bottom
and add a thin layer of your oats!
*Then cut 1 banana and lay it in on top of the granola/oats.
*Then add the rest of your oats/chia seeds
*To top off your delicious overnight oats add some more chocolate granola and banana slices.

This combination is to die for! I love the texture of chia seeds and love all the omega-3's I'm getting!

Motivate yourself by layering your food!
Half of the battle to eating healthy is the presentation,
make every meal you make look beautiful.
THEN DIG IN :)
